The Russell Bouchard Addiction Recovery Fund was founded in 2020 with a powerful purpose: to inspire, support, and uplift our community through meaningful action. Born from the belief that actions speak louder than words, our mission is to break the cycle of addiction with love, compassion, and strength.

We are committed to creating positive change—both locally and beyond—by helping individuals access the recovery resources they need to reclaim their lives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to assist community members in need by helping to finance their addiction recovery and provide resources to help them in achieving a successful transition to recovery living.

The goals of this organization are:

to ensure community members are not financially burdened by the cost of recovery treatment by providing available funds for individuals in need through an application process, so they can maintain their treatment plan and stay on the path to sobriety;
to provide valuable resources from our network of community addiction support programs, services, and providers in the form of written materials, links on our website and social media accounts, and direct referrals; and
to provide a safe social media space on the “Ohio Sober Living” Facebook Group for community members to come together to give or receive encouragement, support, and information on events, meetings, housing, transportation, and any other information that is helpful to aid in the pathways to success.

Our Vision

Our mission is to assist community members in need to finance their addiction recovery and provide resources to help them achieve a successful transition to recovery living.

The vision of our organization is:

to launch successful fundraising campaigns to grow the fund so that we have ample funds to assist any person in need;
to increase our community outreach and get our name out to as many people as possible by using strategic marketing campaigns and utilizing social media, local community events, business referral networks, free broadcasting airtime, and expanding marketing resources as funding becomes available;
to continue to maintain our relationships with other mental health and addiction service providers and seek and cultivate new relationships whenever possible;
to grow the organization and number of board members, so that our network with grow exponentially and our outreach will expand from the local community to nationwide;
and most importantly, to help reduce the stigma of addiction and remove barriers to treatment, whether they be emotional, financial, or physical.
